Nature's Hidden Math- Continued Research
For the past several years I have been exploring the relationships of proportion, composition, and mathematics within the world around us. This research goes beyond Fibonacci's sequence of numbers, rather it is an investigation of the math behind the design. Why do trees for example grow to a certain height and breadth? Why are the proportions of living things held in check by a genetic code? Is there something mysteriously measurable in what we see with our own eyes? More similarly to Leornardo da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man" studies, I've incorporated the graphing and measuring tools of Photoshop and Illustrator to calculate intersections within the confines of geometrics. From this mathematical data, I hope to make some discoveries along the way as I present them with my own visual twists and artistry.
